Festive Fruit Trifle

Festive fruit trifle

This festive fruit trifle will put a little spark into your Fourth of July. The best part about it is that it really takes very little effort to put together.

Growing up, whenever my mom made this trifle, I’d be a little disappointed at first. In my mind, dessert isn’t dessert unless there’s chocolate in it. What place does fruit have in dessert!?

Of course, I’d grudgingly have some anyway. It probably took approximately half a bite before I realised this dessert could rival even the chocolatiest of chocolate desserts.

This is one of those things that, on paper sounds good, but when you take a bite it’s like some sort of magic has occurred. The flavors blend together so well, you’ll honestly have a difficult time not just eating the entire thing in one sitting.

Watch out. This is a dangerous one.

Happy 4th! God bless America!
